The Boondocks Wedding – Youngsville, NC – Eiman + Aaron

The Boondocks Wedding

Eiman + Aaron / Youngsville, NC

David and I both absolutely adore Eiman and Aaron! These two are one of the sweetest couples and so much fun to be around!
Eiman and Aaron were wed at The Boondocks (now Cross + Main) in Youngsville, NC. This gorgeous hidden gem of a venue is located just outside of Wake Forest. It’s easy to see why these two fell in love with it during their tour. With it’s exposed brick, industrial piping, and gorgeous chandeliers it was the perfect setting for their rustic chic themed wedding.
This was definitely one of the most fun receptions we’ve shot in a long time, I think every single guest ended up on the dance floor at some point, and the night was highlighted by the choreographed dance that Aaron and Eiman’s brothers performed.  So fun!

What is your favorite wedding day memory?
Aaron: “My favorite memory of the day was seeing Eiman for the first time as she walked down the aisle. It took everything in me to not peek around the corner as we were handing each other our letters, and the constant “wows” from people that saw her didn’t make it any easier. That moment though, when those two doors opened and I got my first glimpse of her, blew me away. That is a memory and a feeling I will never forget.”

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their own weddings?
“Do not wait until the last minute! The majority of our stress came from waiting too long to place certain orders. A monthly wedding checklist comes in handy and I don’t know what we would have done without day-of coordination. Making time to enjoy your engagement amid all of the planning is also important. Everything falls into place in the end!”

What were some of your favorite wedding details?
Some of our favorite details were the favors, the bridesmaid’s baby breath bouquets, and the wheeled table that the cake was placed on. Those details brought our theme to life!”

What is your favorite wedding day memory?
Eiman: “My favorite memory of the day was Aaron and my brothers surprising me with a dance that one of my bridesmaids choreographed for them. It brought a fun energy to the reception and had everyone laughing. It was a perfect way to open up the dance floor and reminded me of Aaron’s ability to surprise me!”
