A Raleigh JC Raulston Arboretum Engagement.
We spent a lovely afternoon getting to know Jessica and Peter recently. These two couldn’t have been any sweeter! We wandered through the JC Raulston Arboretum with them before heading to Dix Park to wrap their engagement session. And these two are officially married now! Yay! We can’t wait to share their gorgeous North Carolina Museum of Art wedding! But in the meantime, here are a few photos from their recent engagement session:
How did you and Peter meet?
“We met on an app called “Coffee Meets Bagel” – we still can’t figure out who is the coffee and who is the bagel…”
Tell us about your first date!
“We went to Mateo in Durham. Pete was in law school and Jess was practicing law in Raleigh. Durham was in the middle and perfect for two Spanish speaking travelers.”
What do you love most about Peter?
“Pete is very thoughtful, loyal, and intelligent in addition to being a great cook. He is always open to trying new things and encourages me to get outside my comfort zone. He goes to great lengths to do things for people that he cares about. Most importantly, he is a lovable and positive person and really committed to us as a couple.”
What do you love most about Jessica?
“Jess is a very devoted daughter, sister and friend. She cares so much about the people in her life. She also has this secret sense of adventure that not a lot of people know about, but it is so much fun to share new experiences with her – as long as they don’t involve wildlife!”
Tell us about your wedding!
“We are getting married at the North Carolina Museum of Art in October. A lot of friends and family will probably be coming in from out of town, so we are looking forward to sharing all things Raleigh with our guests.”
