Downtown Charleston Engagement Photographers
You guys, I LOVE Charleston! It’s such a gorgeous, charming little city. So when Michelle and Rich contacted us to photograph their downtown Charleston engagement – we were thrilled! I mean, you really can’t go wrong in Charleston. Every street is filled with so much beautiful history and texture. I think the hardest part of photographing engagements there is narrowing down which neighborhoods to photograph in.
We ended up starting off Michelle and Rich’s engagement near Rainbow Row, a series of 13 colorful, historic homes. And then heading down a few of the side streets along Bay St. before finishing up the session with the couple’s adorable dogs along the ruins of Ashley Hall Plantation.
These two are from Chicago, so this was our first time meeting them (and just a few days before their wedding!) It was great to finally get to talk about all of their destination wedding plans and learn more about the amazing beach house they’d rented for their vows. Michelle and Rich were adorable together and had so much chemistry, it made our jobs super easy!
We can’t wait to share their Folly Beach wedding, but here’s a peek at their historic Charleston engagement session in the meantime!
(Michelle and Rich loved these horse drawn carriages. So anytime we saw one of them head our way, we’d position the couple and wait for it to pass. These two are in SO many tourists photos! 😂)
