Spring is finally here! And that means we get to start adding lots of fun colors to our wardrobes again.
…Just in time for some awesome family photos, of course!
We often get asked for clothing recommendations, so I’ve decided to post a few suggestions for everyone once a month. (I’m ALWAYS more than happy to help you figure out your wardrobes, so definitely still feel free to email me for a little one on one help!)
So…let’s start with a little inspiration for your upcoming family portrait session.
Cobalt blue is hot right now! Work it in with a pair of bright skinnies paired with a fresh green top for a great color block effect.Create cohesion by choosing pieces for the rest of the family that play off your look’s color story without being too literal. This creates a group that looks effortlessly in step instead of like you’re trying too hard to match perfectly. (And if that’s too much color for you, try switching to a dark denim and sprinkling a little cobalt into your accessories.)
Outfits pictured below can be easily found at Old Navy, Piperlime and Target for an inexpensive ensemble for your portraits.
All clothing shown above can be found at Old Navy and Piperlime.
Kid’s clothing can be found at Old Navy. Dad’s outfit is from Banana Republic. Mom’s outfit and accessories are from ModCloth. And all shoes pictured above can be found at Zappos.
Spring Mini Sessions for Kids are just around the corner! We love these outfits because they’re fun and colorful – perfect for kids!
All kids clothing can be found at CrewCuts from J.Crew (love!)
Mother’s Day is almost here too! All mom & daughter outfits and accessories can be found at Abercrombie & Fitch, Old Navy, and Wet Seal.
We are almost completely booked for April and May! If you’d like to schedule a family portrait session, contact us soon so that we can chat more and save a spot for you! 🙂
